What the pros do

Focal lens length- EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM zoom

Shutter Speed -shot at 1/640

Effect- the effect of shooting at a high shutter speed of 640 is that you can capture the action that is going on such as the football player flying through the air.

Aperature-f/2.8

Effect- the effect is that you get a lot of light in so the shot gets enough light to see the image when the shutter speed is so high.

Position- to me it seems like the photographer was standing right on the sidelines.

After Printing Post

Cleaned Negatives when i cleaned the negatives i cleaned them before i put them in the enlarger trying to get all the dust off i wasnt completely susccesful.

Loaded Negative into enlarger when i loaded the the negative into the enlarger i put it into the little black loader and pressed down the nob so it would stay in the enlarger.

Focused image this part i had a little trouble with i couldnt really tell with the tight focusing on seeing the crystals but other than that it was fine.

Set aperture when i set the aperature i twited the nob on the side which would click into different spots and would set the aperature

Made test strip when i made the test strip we just got a ripped strip of photo paper and stuck it in the enlarger and made strips of a print with different amounts of light aloud on it.

Made Final Print making the final print was the easiest part because i had all the practice with the test strip all i did was stick a piece of photo paper and pushed the timer button to let light through the negative onto the print.
1. What challenges did you encounter while trying to get close, capture real moments, and capture action or emotion? How did you deal with these?

Actually i didnt have any problem getting close or capturing action and emotion seeing as i was taking pictures of softball.

2. What technical aspects of photography (focus, exposure, composition) did you find yourself thinking about the most, and how did you make sure you did these correctly?

Focus was my big problem and that was because of the fact that i wasn't using my camera and because i was trying to take a picture of the players running and hitting the ball.Exposure time was fine because the aperature was set to auto, and composition was fine all together.

3. Describe how you attempted to use at least one of the advanced composition techniques when you shot.

Mostly i attempted to use the advanced composition of the rule of thirds i found it the easiest to accomplish.
